Even though we have amazing performance in Pro Tools on an unsupported computer running an unsupported OS and Avid has released Apple Silicon Native HDX and HD Native drivers so we can run Pro Tools Ultimate with Avid hardware on an Apple Silicon computer, there are still some plugins that won’t work and although with the 2021.10 release we can play video in Pro Tools, there still isn’t support for playing video via video hardware.
